Topic Highlights

Positive and negative stress are a constant influence on all of our lives. The trick is to maximize the positive stress and to minimize the negative stress! Participants will be shown how stress can be positive and negative, and the Triple A approach will be thoroughly studied, as it will be the basis of the Stress Management Workshop.

The course covers: 

Identifying the best approach to a stressful situation (Alter, Avoid, or Accept)

Understanding what lifestyle elements you can change to reduce stress

Using routines to reduce stress

Using environmental and physical relaxation techniques

Better coping with major events

Using a stress log to identify stressors and creating a plan to reduce or eliminate them

About the Speaker

Mr. Riachi is a certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt, Balanced Scorecard, Project Manager, Change Agent, and SHRM professional with over 22 years of leading teams in process improvement, BPR, change management, strategic planning and organizational learning in civilian and government organizations. He specializes in providing sustainable process improvement by mentoring and coaching key decision makers and leadership in LSS, strategy, and change to help shift the organizational cultures and improve cross-cutting communication and collaboration channels to effect lasting change surrounding LSS implementation. He has led client teams of over 30 individuals on projects resulting in over $3.8MM in cost avoidance in a single organizational unit. Mr. Riachi has led demonstrated senior level leadership and management skills that enabled him to startup and lead the international expansion of Ritcom in the Middle East and South America.
